Winnebago County SWCD Scholarship (application)

For students majoring in Soil &/or Water Conservation; or a related Natural Resources field.

Scholarship to benefit outstanding students of soil, water and related natural resources.  To be eligible student must be a resident of Winnebago County, upcoming high school graduate or attending an accredited two- or four-year college or university and a full-time student.

 

Soil and Water Stewardship Scholarship (application)

For students pursuing education in the field of natural resources.

The Leopold Education Project Scholarship Program seeks to provide scholarships for post-high school education.  Scholarships are awarded to students enrolled full time at an accredited two- or four-year community college, college or university, which will lead to a career in various fields of natural resources.

 

Zimmerman Agriculture/Natural Resource Educator Grant  (grant instructions) (application)

For teachers or educators of grades pre-kindergarten through 12 in Winnebago County, including home-school teachers to receive funding for natural resources-related field trips; or classroom activity(s)/event(s).

The grant is in memorandum of Eldora “Dorie” Zimmerman. Dorie was a lifelong supporter of the Winnebago County SWCD, an advocate for locally led conservation of our natural resources, especially to our youth.
